1. Stomp Your Boots To Some Country Magic
Sing along with Randy Rogers Band and Turnpike Troubadours at the Concrete Street Amphitheater, Corpus Christi’s bayside outdoor music venue. Lose yourself in the magic of hearing a guitar and a southern accent harmonize beneath the stars.

2. Rock Some Lederhosen At Surftoberfest
Beer-lovers all around the world celebrate Oktoberfest, but Corpus Christi personalizes the tradition as only a coastal paradise can do: with surfboards. Meet up with friends and family for Surftoberfest: cold beer, mouth-watering food, a full lineup of live music, a lederhosen contest, and a stein-holding contest! The event benefits the Texas Surf Museum. Surf’s up, bottoms up!

3. Indulge Your Funnybone
“Comedy is the art of making people laugh without making them puke.” So leave the barf bags behind and catch legendary comic Steve Martin, and his partner in comedic crime, Martin Short, at the American Bank Center’s beautiful and intimate Selena Auditorium.
(Bonus Tip: Kevin Hart will also be performing at the American Bank Center on Sunday, October 21 @7pm!)

4. Take On A Corn Maze
Pumpkin bowling, dummy steer roping, and apple blasting…talk about a perfect Saturday with the kids (or your child-at-heart thirty-something friends). All month long, Rockin’ K Farms offers fun for the whole family at its annual Corn Maze & Fall Festival.

5. Slow Dance To Some Smooth Jazz
Let the sweet sounds of jazz from musicians across the country sweep over you at the Texas Jazz Festival. Enjoy four stages of live music, food and market vendors, and Salsa Jazz dancing in the heart of historic downtown Corpus Christi!

6. Celebrate Dia de los Muertos
Don’t miss one of Corpus Christi’s biggest annual street festivals! Visit the arts and crafts expo; tour the fine art exhibition; enjoy non-stop entertainment with ballet folklorico, cumbia, tejano, and latin rock; and tour the ofrenda display at the historic The Ritz Theatre.

7. Try Not To Scream
Gear up for Halloween with the Dia de los muertos Fiesta at Fright Night Haunted House. The event includes music, food, beer (for liquid courage), and the most terrifying haunted house in Corpus Christi.
